My son likes to ride his favorite carousel ride at the Victoria Plaza Mall. Everytime we happen to be there and we happen to pass by the carousel, he would really stop by to look and sometimes I would allow him to stay and stand in the benches surrounding the carousel so that he can watch kids riding the carousel. I have since the beginning tried to avoid riding this one with my son since I am afraid that I would easily get dizzy with it.
My son seems to be really enjoying the ride with his dad. I am so happy watching them laughing and simply enjoying this happy bonding time. Another happy memory to keep.
Then again, I would not dare riding this one. But one day when it was just the two of us and hubby was at work, I saw my eldest sis, my niece and my nephew (their youngest) there just as my son and I were about to leave. My niece and nephew rode the carousel. It crossed my mind to let my son ride it with my niece so after their ride, i will let my niece hold my son and ride the carousel. But alas after I have bought the ticket, waited in line with my son and when it was his turn to ride, he would not ride it with my niece. My son insisted that I ride with him. So what choice do i have but rode the carousel with him for the very first time. I enjoyed it and just told myself over and over again to hold tight to the pole and to my son and not to look outside coz it would make me dizzy which I realized as I was trying to look at my niece who was taking photos of us.Well sometimes we just to give in to our fears and realized once we conquered it, it is just a petty thing and at the same time I was able to make my son happy at that time. He enjoyed the ride with me just as he enjoyed the ride with his dad in the photo.

I was happy we – me, hubby and our son had dinner at Pizza Hut Gaisano Mall earlier tonight. I finally got to try the new Pizza Hut Super Panalo 99 value meal and I ordered Meals for 1 #2 – baked pasta, caesar salad with a glass of iced tea. There are three baked pastas to choose from (spaghetti bolognese 3-cheese macaroni and spaghetti carbonara).
It has always been spaghetti carbonara for me and I think it is high time to choose another kind of baked pasta so I chose the 3-cheese macaroni. It was good though I could feel a little bit of sour after taste to it but then again I was happy to share a little bit of it with my son who wanted to taste it too.
It is always a happy memory for us three – me, hubby and our son to have dinner out and have some quality bonding time while at the same time getting time out to relax and away from our PC and laptop that is taking a break from blogging once in awhile.
I took another shot of their Valentine’s Day decor – pink balloons and pink colored hearts. Reminds us that Valentine’s Day is just ten days away.
