THE happy memories

We found a new fave pancake at the Port Cafe in Gaisano Mall of Davao when we ate there with my parents-in-law a few days ago. We ordered this for our son and when I tried tasting it I said to myself this will replace McDo’s pancake as our fave. Hubby and his parents love the taste too which is kinda sweet. Plus it is deliciously thick too! I could have one enough for a breakfast.

Heaven is crying right now! I remember one of my nephews said that before whenever he sees it is raining and it is raining right now. it has been gloomy almost whole day and when I saw the updates of friends in FB that it is raining and when I checked outside indeed it is already raining. I just hope it wont rain so much or else it might flood again in the south near my parents’ house. Lucky enough it is in an elevated part so I need not worry for my family.

I would love to getaway for awhile just with hubby and go on a romantic getaway or vacation. We both need to go on a vacation and take a break from the routine of everyday life and that need for a romantic cancun vacation I dream about was made stronger when I browsed through the site of Karisma Hotels and Resorts with five signature resorts namely – El Dorado Royale Spa Resort (adults only), El Dorado Seaside Suites (adults only), Azul Beach (family-friendly) and Azul Blue (family-friendly) and Hidden Beach Resort (naturalist).

If we were to bring along our lil boy then we can go to Azul Blue or Azul Beach which has a family-friendly kids activity center. I would love to go to a meditation class there which I really need now. Plus hubby and I wanna try their non-motorized water sports too. One poignant moment for all those who saw the Michael Jackson public memorial is that part towards the end when his daughter Paris Katherine Jackson spoke  for the first time in public telling people around the world of how much she loved her daddy. It brought me tears rolling down my eyes and I just cannot seem to stop crying every time I see that video played over and over again. The memorial was a celebration of MJ’s life but I could never forget that moment his daughter spoke about the best daddy she could ever have and how much she love MJ as a daddy.

I was really touched by the message of MJ’s daughter in the end of the service. I cannot help it but the tears just flow down from my eyes every time I see it again and again. I feel for the young daughter who lost a daddy, the daddy she called the best dad she could ever have. I feel for her as a mother would feel for her sad child. It is just so sad. I am not sure if she will be given back to her real mom though. But I hope she will be able to cope and recover from this such sad loss. I feel like crying again now. Maybe in time this will pass and heal. Let’s us hope for the best for her and the family left behind.

I want some Pho Pia (fried spring rolls) like these from Bangkok Wok! I suddenly want this after we had lumpia ubod yesterday for our viand. It has been awhile since we last ate at Bangkok Wok located at the Robinsons Cybergate Davao. This is a must try is you do visit the resto. I will order this again next time.
