THE happy memories

Making time especially for important tasks is often easier said and thought of than done. But of all important things, among my priority the past few days is to really find time even for a few minutes to really play with my two year old son when he grabs my hand and say to me “Dula ta toys” (Let’s play toys). Before I would talk to him and try to make him understand when I have something really important to finish by telling him that Mama is working. But often my conscience would really bother me though he would often concede and just play with his toys.

I told myself lately that I should grab every chance that he asks me to play with him since it might not be long when he finds other play mates and won’t even play with me anymore. So the hugs and kisses in the lips that he gives me most of the time are some of the most cherished things that he would do that would remind me often to make time to play with him when he asks me to. I am happy and blessed to have you as my son and to have the hugs and kisses that you give me that comes with a giggle often as you stand there after and sometimes dance and try to sing with the Barney songs while grabbing my hand and following what they do on TV which is to hug and kiss. I hope though that daddy will be here with us more often without having to quit his job though. For now I will just have to make time to spend more and more precious time with my growing baby boy CT. I love you so much CT and I hope you do understand mommy’s work too!
