When you think of cruises, you probably imagine the open ocean, spas and dining with the captain. You probably don’t think of disaster relief. But because of the international nature of the cruise industry, it is ideally situated to respond to worldwide catastrophe, and it often does in ways that integrate tourism and aid.
Cruise ships headed to areas affected by disaster often carry disaster relief direct to the ports. Relief supplies, including clothing, blankets, water, hygiene products, non-perishable food stores, and medical supplies can be shipped in cruise ships to a nearby port and then distributed to areas of need. Cruise lines often play an active part in gathering these supplies from their home ports by inviting those not affected by disaster to drop off donations at the offices of the cruise company or of local charitable organizations. Bonding time with hubby even for a few hours as we watched Shrek 4 Final Chapter in 3D finally! I wish we saw it in IMAX but that would be wishful thinking. We have been waiting for this movie in 3D for quiet sometime. We almost went somewhere else just to see this movie aside from having a short and instant vacation hopefully. Though that didn’t push through, we were happy to have some time for each other even if just for an hour and a half then off to the grocery immediately while the lil boy was with my sis and dad. An above ground swimming pool can be a great way to bring your family together. When you have a pool at home, your children will be less likely to spend too much time away from home and will rather make your home the new summer hang out. To make sure that your above ground swimming pool is in proper working order for your children and their friends, you will want to periodically inspect the liner for any signs of wear. When the time comes to replace the liner, be sure to shop around for a few different pool liners before buying one.
Your pool probably came with a liner when you first purchased it. However, it is almost inevitable that your liner will need replacing at some point because of normal wear and tear.
