Do you remember how difficult it was to sleep on Christmas Eve when you were a child? You just couldn’t get the image of presents stacked high out of your head. Then after maybe an hour of wrestling with your thoughts, you were finally able to drift off to sleep for an hour or two (those are some of the best memories, where the excitement is so great that it disturbs your normal sleeping patterns). Then, when Christmas morning finally came, you rushed to the Christmas tree while still wearing your pajamas to open presents with your family. Blogging is a great way to pass the time and to inform readers about important local news. But is it truly the best way deliver news to people? Despite the best efforts of bloggers there seem to be a few areas where a newspaper provides superior services.
People still purchase newspapers as keepsakes. They want to clip out birth announcements, obits and sports triumphs. They want to see their names and the names of their loved ones in print. They want to see “evergreen” stories that are relevant weeks and months after publication. The newspaper is a public forum that serves as the first draft of history. People wish to make good investments with their hard earned money. To be honest I am one among those many people with the hope that it will help my son and my family’s future. So for now while we try to save as much as we still can, we hope to make significant investments. I have been reading about those people lucky enough to make precious metal investments such as in gold bullion and I say it is such a big investment.
I may wish better if we go for gold coins which is more affordable it seems. Going through the USGB site, I wish to learn more about this precious investment hoping someday we can make it.
