Found A Job

With new businesses and establishments opening every now and then here in the city, it is great news when people find jobs. A friend of ours recently found a job as a data mining specialist. He happens to be a son of one of our former neighbors whom we have not seen for more than two decades already.

We are so happy for him. I am not really familiar with the job he specializes in but I did a little research and get to understand what he does in his job. Data Mining Specialist Jobs maintaining data support to design data modeling/analysis services used to mine enterprise systems and applications for knowledge and information that enhances business processes according to one job site that I stumbled upon recently. We wish him good luck in his new found job. These days, employment can be hard to find and he is one of the lucky ones to have a new job.

Cassava Crunch

I miss this cassava crunch as they would call it. I used to remember we eat this for snacks at the company plant where I used to work for years ago. There was a local maker and supplier of this cassava crunch selling it as they just pass by the plant. This brings back happy memories from my working years (years ago LOL!).

This was among the display at the Abreeza Mall.

Soon to be a Nurse

I once again met an old friend and former officemate after a long time. When we met a few months ago, I was surprised to know that she took up nursing and is soon to be a nurse. I do have a few friends who had taken up nursing as a second course even after finishing a totally different degree in college years ago.

My friends even suggested that I can take up an online nursing degree if I don’t want to be burdened in leaving the comfort of my home since I am a stay at home mom and work at home mom at the same time. I still don’t have much free time from the little boy to spare in going to a regular school for nursing here in the city. Well I am inspired and encouraged by my friends who are now nurses and will soon be nurses. I still have to decide though if I still can manage a second degree but it really is tempting.

Fashion Scrubs

My sister was happy with the cash gifts that I gave them but she kidded me that she would have been happier if I had included one of those high fashion scrubs that I was telling her about. She wanted a new uniform for herself to wear next year. She was hoping I could help her find those on sale or are sold at discount prices yet are made of high quality and durable material plus not to forget they look fashionable too even for being scrub set uniforms she can wear at work.

She was looking for discount scrub sets last month up to now for her new uniform set at work that she pans to use by the start of the new year. It feels good to be wearing something new at work for her as a nurse especially when she saw those fashion seal scrub sets at Blue Sky Scrubs that I told her about last month. Our other sister and I were actually planning recently to buy her one set yet we still didn’t have the time to shop online. Maybe next week we can buy my sis one of those fashion scrubs she wishes for.

Happy Job Hunting

Hubby wants to give up his job which is one of the good IT Jobs that you can find here locally so he can stay home for a change. I know a lot of job hunters looking for a job in IT would be happy to replace him. He wants me to go back to work while he stays in the house this time. Well I wish myself a happy job hunting. I will try to look for a job that I will love and which I will be happy working at. You got to love your job to stay long in it otherwise you would be wishing you just stayed and kept on working at home instead. Do you have any jobs to offer that I might like? Let me know.

Beauty School

One thing that would make me happy now is to learn how to make myself beautiful and learn how to pamper myself and dear hubby. These days when people are free to pursue their dreams. I would like to pursue one dream of going to a beauty school to teach myself how to take care of and pamper myself. There was a short term course offered to me before on the basics of using and applying makeup.

Well an accredited beauty school like that of the cosmetology school in Orange Park would be a good choice to learn the art and science of cosmetology with their facilities that are fully equipped and designed well to mirror upscale salons. Most of us want to achieve and fulfill our dreams. Fulfilling dreams for some means having a good education that will help them find a good job and a fulfilling career in the future. But the journey starts at finding the right accredited college or university to attend your chosen degree whether be it in arts, business, science, engineering, education, humanities, information technology or in a vocational or career degree. Do research college degrees and find the right one for you in terms of the right degree or course as well as the right school, college or university. Fulfilling this dream of finishing a degree in your chosen school entails a lot of hardwork during the two or four years of education. Do you part and study hard and am sure when the time comes in the future you will be truly be happy and grateful that you have been successful in fulfilling your dreams.

It is always nice to know that you make a happy choice when it comes to one’s education and career path. A brother of someone I know has decided to make a career choice of studying in a beauty school just like this Cosmetology school in Arkansas I have been looking into that offers their aspiring students a unique learning system, good facilities, as well as industry partners that can hire them when they do graduate. Their students when they are ready to work and put their knowledge into practice, they will be able to go through hundreds of career opportunities in the US. Their career services team is always dedicated to quality standard of educating future and aspiring cosmetologists. I’m happy for that friend’s brother whom I met several times in one salon that I used to visit. I wish him the best of luck and I know he is happy with his choice.
