The litte boy is having a laugh trip right at this moment! I am amused and I cannot help but smile and laugh at the same time to see him having fun. He was watching something very funny it seems at my iPod Touch and he keeps on laughing still. He is a happy child most of the time. It isn’t hard to make him laugh at times. If only am not that busy now, I would be watching whatever he is watching now and will be happy to join him in his laugh trip.
Today was a fun and happy Mother and Child Day at the little boy’s school!
“Mug-galing Ka Mommy”… Mug painting one of the activities during the Mother and Child Day at the little boy’s school.
The photo above shows my very simple work of art! On the other side I actually painted a heart in between the words I & CT so that means I love CT!
We were among the last few ones who took part of this activity as they run out of mugs after awhile and it was nearing lunch that time. This was my first choice among the activities actually but it was the second to the last that we went to since we started at the little boy’s classroom where he wanted to go first when we went in. The activity there was Stick Together (Stained Glass Art) that actually uses colored water cellophane.

Sometimes, parents can get caught up in showering their children with the latest electronic gadget, the most expensive sneakers and every new toy and treat that rolls off the market. It almost seems children today are born with an innate sense of materialism and “keeping up with the Jones’” that parents are all too happy and too eager to encourage. Keeping your child grounded and grateful, even though all the commercial noise – literally from television ads and figuratively from peers – is not as daunting as trying to hit the jackpot at an online casino. Actually, if you equip your kids with the right set of mental and emotional tools, they will be happier, healthier and better prepared for adulthood than kids who are granted every little wish and whim.
