I love the white ipod touch or an iPhone 4S would be better. I remember late last year, I was kind of interested in the Apple 64GB 4TH generation iPod touch in color white which I believe was called the October 2011 version. I am still happy using our old iPod touch which is black and I still find it useful today when I play Bubble Explode to de-stress and clear my mind from work and other concerns just to relax before resuming work again at home.

Oh Christmas shopping for the gadgets in your wish list is something any of us would love to do. Even my friend’s kid is happy to know he will be getting one of those accessories for ipod that he has been asking since his birthday a few months back. Well he is getting a new gadget and I think he is one lucky kid if not blessed with generous parents.

If I were to ask for an ipod accessory it would have to be that docking speaker with alarm clock and radio that we have seen at the iCenter a few months back. I just do not have the budget for that now. I would really be happy to get one for our old iPod Touch.  We still could not give something like this to our own little boy. There will come a time I know that he will be asking for his Christmas gift a new gadget. Until then, we will try to save for that new gadget.

Happiness for this week includes being able to play this new game we found called Blob Blast. Gosh it can be addicting! Even hubby realized that when he tried playing it yesterday. LOL!

I think it was the little boy who found it and downloaded the game at the SGTab a few days ago. Then there is another version the Bob Blast Halloweeeeen that popped up while we were playing the original version. We tried it, and you guess it right got addicted for a few days and now it won’t play anymore level. Guess I may have reached the end? Maybe or there might just be something wrong with the game or our Tabby.

It is a blessing in disguise anyway since I am able to go back and concentrate on what needs and has to be done with my free time.

At one point, a friend of ours almost sold us his son’s PSP but we have to buy new psp batteries then. However, the son decided not to forego with it yet. The dad was happy because he was able to save money then since they were supposed to buy another new gadget in replacement or as an upgrade to his son’s PSP. I know the feeling. Sometimes kids easily get bored with their toys and want the new ones that come out in the market.

Even at the band concert last week at the mall, fans were thankful for their digital cams as they snap endlessly at their music idols singing and playing in the band. I am sure those photos of captured memories will be uploaded in their Facebook and blog.

I wonder if we would have bought a wii last Christmas and with all those games we could play together or alternatively, we would have more fun playing together. And I think i would be the one calling out to the little one, “Let’s play!” Now that would make my work wait till I get tired playing right? LOL!

But you still cannot buy the Vertu Cobra cellphone for a few hundred thousand. You will need exactly $310,000 to become the owner of one of these luxury phones, only eight of which are claimed to have been made.

Does a $310,000 cell phone, in these days of free ringtones, free air travel, etc. make sense? Unimaginable, yes, but true nevertheless; a small luxury phone maker named Vertu has collaborated with a French Jeweler named Boucheron to produce just such a piece of magnificence. Magnificence, at least as far as the price is concerned, since most reviewers are of the opinion that the phone, as phones go (things you talk with, use for internet, etc.) is not really a technical marvel.

Why that humongous price? That is because the phone comes with “one pear-cut diamond, one round white diamond two emerald eyes and 439 rubies” according to Gizmodo. The rubies go into designing the body of the Cobra, which coils around the phone. Technology wise, the phone is just an ordinary looking, ordinary phone – but the cost of that jewelery goes into its price and creates this monstrosity.

There are hundreds of similar looking replicas deluging the market, so if you are about to buy one, make sure you do not fall for a replica. On second thought, though, it may seem that a cheap replica may not be such a bad idea. After all, if a phone is mostly about talking, why spend so much on a Vertu?
