THE happy memories

Seeing those bands playing music at a music competition on TV has reminded our little boy of that one thing he said last week about wanting to play like a rock star complete with using an electric guitar. He seems very interested and happy with the idea. We saw him pointing to what looks like a washburn acoustic electric guitar in an online store selling guitars of various kind. I wonder where we could find mini guitars if there are any that is being sold locally or online.

There was a computer game that was played during the recent FourSquare Day celebration where he saw someone playing like a rock star with an imaginary or virtual electric guitar. He happily said to us that he wants to play that like a rock star. Well we do want it too!

Our little boy has learned to download games in the Galaxy Tab on his own. I saw that he was really happy being able to play games especially yesterday when he was not feeling well actually. We have learned to check on what he is playing every now and then to make sure he isn’t playing any game that is violent or not for his age. He called out to me often yesterday, “Ma let’s play!” I think he called me thrice and that meant each time that he has found a new game to play and he wants to explore and play it with me. We called out to dad to play with us but he said he wanted to read more about the benefits of testosterone supplements which are said to include increasing your energy, boosting your libido, building muscle mass, and restoring your overall well-being. It made me wonder a little bit why he is reading about it yet I let him do so while the little boy and I were playing a new game at the Galaxy Tab.

Well I would give in to the little boy’s invitation though I am quite busy at work just to give him that sense of being important when it comes to time that we can give him when it comes to any bonding activity be it playing games or doing other more meaningful stuff here at home. So when he says let’s play, we would make it a point to join him because that would be the good time to check what he has been downloading.

We have been looking for a combo duracell procell 9V battery for one of the little boy’s old favorite toys – an old remote control (RC) car toy that we found among his toys that was hidden in the cabinet. It turns out it is still functioning though slightly damaged already. You know how kids can be intrigued with how things are and what they are made of at times simply out of curiosity.

It does still turn on but the battery needs to be replaced. We still have to look for a battery replacement and we will check that known battery store here in the city otherwise we may have to scout around or order online.

The little boy is just happy and excited to play his old RC car toy once again. It brings back happy memories when he was younger how he really enjoyed playing with this toy car.
