I missed those karaoke days when we were so much younger that every time there is a special occasion at home we would turn on the karaoke and almost fight over who would get the chance to hold the microphone and sing their favorite songs. My dad loves to sing but his genre of songs are different from ours though one of my elder sisters and I love some old songs that our dad also love to sing.
Now they have what they call the MagicSing microphone which my sis brought when she was here for a short vacation with her family. Since it had been a long time since I’ve sang my heart out, it was a fun sing along party for us at their home. I also really and truly miss those karaoke days that we used to have at my parent’s home.
It would be great to have some sing along music on our family gathering this Christmas. I am sure it could be some sort of a riot with the little kids who I can guess would love to get hold of the mic almost all the time. But am sure it will bring so many happy memories singing their hearts out whether or not they completely know the lyrics or not.

I need some relaxing music and I remember I found this music file of Christmas songs. Now playing is Hark the Herald and I love this version because it is really relaxing. Oh it really makes me think Christmas is just around the corner and time flies. While I listen to this Christmas song, I started to think too of that I have to do my Christmas shopping list soon.
Speaking of Christmas songs and Christmas shopping, what is it with these songs that makes us want to shop more like there is no tomorrow? I love shopping more when relaxing Christmas songs are played in the air in the shopping malls and department stores. It may be relaxing but in effect it stresses out our pockets, don’t you think? LOL!

Something reminded hubby and me last night that my sis in UK gave us a flute. So we took it from the cabinet where we stored and and since yesterday the little boy would not let go of it. He was so happy to see it again! He kept blowing it and playing with it. Sometimes though it seems he thinks its an arnis stick. No little boy that isn’t either a drum stick!
When he woke up this morning, he got out of the room hugging Mickey and Pooh in his right arm while holding this flute in his left hand. He loves playing with it so far and I hope he won’t be able to damage it coz he can still use this later on to learn how to play it properly. All he does now is just blow and blow pleasing to my ears but sometimes it can get too high and loud we just have to remind him not to make it too loud.
