Today was a fun and happy Mother and Child Day at the little boy’s school!
“Mug-galing Ka Mommy”… Mug painting one of the activities during the Mother and Child Day at the little boy’s school.
The photo above shows my very simple work of art! On the other side I actually painted a heart in between the words I & CT so that means I love CT!
We were among the last few ones who took part of this activity as they run out of mugs after awhile and it was nearing lunch that time. This was my first choice among the activities actually but it was the second to the last that we went to since we started at the little boy’s classroom where he wanted to go first when we went in. The activity there was Stick Together (Stained Glass Art) that actually uses colored water cellophane.

I am happy that somehow the little boy loves to stay after school and wants to play. For two days in a row now, we stayed longer as he wants to watch the other kids practice soccer in the small field they have in front of the school. We could have enrolled him in the elective class of soccer had we known he likes to be part of those group of kids playing after dismissal. I am not sure though if he just wants to watch them play or if he will be actively taking part in the practice if ever we had enrolled him. But one thing for sure he wants to stay in school and he wants to play.
Yesterday while I was chatting with my HS classmate whose son is also studying there, the lil boy looks so happy running around with them. He is still a little bit shy with the other kids though. He doesn’t have any playmates around here except for the bigger kids who he has not played with for quite sometime now. We will try this weekend if we can let him go to his grandparent’s house or at my sis’ place and play with my nephews and niece.
Our little boy photographer took this shot and he somehow found his way tweaking the menu of the camera and edited this right at the camera changing it from colored to sepia. I was taking photos of his work and he wanted to take a snap shot too of his own. So I let him take a shot and here it is. Then he figured before actually that with pressing some of the buttons in the DSLR, he can make some changes. Sepia seems to be his fave. We are happy that he loves taking photos too and if he pursues this, we will be there to support him all the way.
