Found this flower outside my sister’s house when we went there last Sunday for a simple yet happy family get together. I should have asked for one to plant in our front yard here. I do not know the name of this flower and I also forgot to ask my two dear sisters its name. LOL! Anyway, I will go back there next time and ask for both. Have a great day!

For Looking at the Sky this week, this is one shot of the sky with the sun shining through the leaves of the mango tree. I miss this place at my mom and dad’s place where grew up and where I had a lot more space to shoot the sky. We are going there on Sunday and hoping I can shoot if we arrived when there is still daylight.

This is a shot of my two year old son’s new Transformers shoes and he was wearing them on top of our new treadmill which hubby bought for me as an advance Mother’s Day gift. We have long been looking for a walking shoes for him and this one fit him right. It is a little costly though but if for our son’s comfort then it should not be a problem. I have mentioned previously here about my plan to have my own Project 365 and I have asked for Te JennyL’s idea a few days ago and somehow I wanted to start with it already. But I was blessed with tasks and got busy not to mention I got stuck at Twitter. I have to dedicate some time each day to take a photo a day and edit them so I can post them here. It has become a trend these days to have a Project 365 posting photos of each day of the year. Well I wanted to start this at the very start of 2009 but then again the year started out and we became busy somehow. Until now I have not started it and when I looked back at my photo file archive there are a few days I totally missed out. Read the rest of this entry »
This new Nikon lens we bought yesterday at Tekphone NCCC Mall made my hubby happy. I bought this AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens for him coz he had been wanting to have this lens for quite sometime. I am also curious how good this lens is. But somehow did not meet my expectation coz it is not autofocus as what I thought it was. It was a different lens model but much more expensive than this one though so we will just wait.
Anyway, I am happy that we got this for him and I hope he will maximize as in use this one. I have quite shaky hands so this particular Nikkor lens is not for me. It would take some shots before I get a clear shot.
Congrats hubby and have a happy time playing with your new toy!
And this is my one of the happy memories for the day!
