My high school friend whom I met in the new mall in town recently has invested in a new cam among those compact digital cameras that we were looking into a few days ago while waiting for the little boy who was playing at the play house. Indeed those compact and affordable digital cameras these days have given many people a great opportunity to capture memories – fun memories of their kids having fun, food trips, special occasions and gatherings with family and friends.
Even at the band concert last week at the mall, fans were thankful for their digital cams as they snap endlessly at their music idols singing and playing in the band. I am sure those photos of captured memories will be uploaded in their Facebook and blog.
Simply looking at this yesterday after we came from the agri-trade fair, makes me miss the sky farther down south. It was late afternoon and the sun has set behind the mountain when we were on our way back to go inside the mall.
This photo made me think I am overdue for a trip and visit to my sister’s house “up the mountain” as we would make a joke of where she lives. The sight of the setting sun there is a lot better. It is still within the city but in a high place. I love taking photos there outside her home even dear hubby. It’s time to plan a day trip there during one of the coming weekends. Anyway summer is just two weeks away. We should find more time to go there this summer.
Out of the blue, I found my old Starbucks water bottle at the cabinet while I was looking for something to bring to the workshop today. I bought it during one of our travels to the capital since there is still no Starbucks here in the city. No we are not a poor city just because there is no Starbucks.
Anyway, I suddenly remember that I also have another water bottle as one of those custom imprinted promo items that was given by our company years ago. I remember I have one and I wanted to use that for today’s workshop since they said we need to bring our own water canteen or bottles. It looks just like my starbucks water bottle except that it has no brand stamped on the bottle but it will be very useful today only if I find it.
I won’t use the Starbucks bottle for I may just possibly leave it behind. It is part of my collection anyway. So I just have to make do with the mineral water bottle I found in the ref.
