We have introduced him to choosing the veggies we buy at the grocery (which we actually somehow influence him) like squash, carrots and potatoes. This makes him aware of the vegetables that we would cook and he would eat afterwards. Knowing what he ate from what we bought made it easier for us to make him eat the veggies. So far he likes those three veggies. So before we checkout those grocery goods and veggies, the little boy would stop by the scanner and scan the items. Until he is done and satisfied, we proceed to the cashier counter to pay for the items.

The little boy has learned to appreciate the whole experience which is part of practical life and slowly teaching him to decide what he wants and what he should eat.

When we went around the mall recently, I noticed all stores has these big and attractive sale signs displayed. It could really be so tempting to shop for some new clothes to change a little of my wardrobe which I have not changed for quite a long time. Yes I am a mother and there have been other more important priorities that I usually forego of shopping just to prioritize what needs to be prioritized.

But a new year’s sale just makes me think once again of that sears coupons that I wish I have and can use not to shop for clothes this time but to get one of the kitchen electrics, stuff and accessories that is still in my list up to now. Hubby and I are currently looking for some cooking ware set and we’d be happy to purchase what we have in mind. We have been scouring the local stores and still have not found what we wanted. There may be an ongoing new year’s sale for kitchen stuff online somewhere and I just got to find it.

I am happy as well, on the other hand when we also found the adult diapers that we were supposed to donate for a Christmas charity activity by a group that we promised to help with their mission for a local institution as part of their Christmas offering and a way of sharing their blessings to the elderly. We have been looking for those diapers that were out of stock in two mall we went to the past week. This day’s quick shopping was all fruitful. I asked for a sign if we would go to the party or not and it was given. Thank you LORD!

If I were to ask for an ipod accessory it would have to be that docking speaker with alarm clock and radio that we have seen at the iCenter a few months back. I just do not have the budget for that now. I would really be happy to get one for our old iPod Touch.  We still could not give something like this to our own little boy. There will come a time I know that he will be asking for his Christmas gift a new gadget. Until then, we will try to save for that new gadget.

Our little guy got his first Christmas gift this Cars Beanz | Mighty Beanz from us today the first day of the merry month of December. Hubby and I were at the mall looking for a lamp shade when we passed by Toys R Us. We were actually looking for clay for the lil boy who loves to play with it again since summer for the past week or so. So we thought we might buy him more clay to play with.

This sales guy at Toys R Us convinced us that this will be fun to play with and it can be brought anywhere. He said the lil guy can play with it in his arms. We” we gave it a try and so there it is. Our little guy was so happy when we came home from school and found the Christmas tree up already though bare yet. More so when he found out that he was getting a gift, hist first one for this Christmas. Hopefully we would be able to give him more. This Beanz will do for now. He is really excited and happy to show it to his friends in school.

I would still have to ask him what he may really want for a birthday gift. He often shy away when asked but I think I can prod him to find what he wants and I’ll see if I can get what he wants as a gift for his birthday. I’ll bring him to one of those jewelry stalls in the mall and see if he can find anything he likes and I’ll get an idea from there on.

Chips Ahoy Oatmeal Chewy in Resealable Package

One of my fave chocolate cookies years ago. It has been years ago since I last ate this chewy cookie. I saw this last month at Robinson’s Supermarket in Abreeza in a new resealable pack . Yet I just had to stop myself from buying one coz it’s quite expensive until only recently when I finally gave in and bought one for the little boy and I to try.

Well he instantly loved it! He is not much into cookies but he loved this one. I may have to save more to buy one again and hopefully soon! So yummylicious that it makes me think I should just let the boy eat it more than I do or else I may need some diet pills. Anyway, I think a cookie or two of this treat won’t hurt right? I just missed this so much that it makes me want to just east and eat it.

Mall shoppers are happy to have new stores in Abreeza Mall Davao and first branched in Davao.

I tried texting my sister and friend when I saw these new stores in the mall. They would truly be both excited. But my text won’t go through. I may need that cell booster after all when the cellphone signal weakens. Good thing the Abreeza mall has free wifi. I just sent them a message both through Facebook with matching mobile uploads of these photos.

Shoppers in Davao are happy that more new stores in the city are opening unlike before when we still have to go to Manila or elsewhere just to buy these brands.

Hubby is the one most excited because they are both soccer fans. The little boy loves watching Super Strickas at Disney Channel because it is about soccer. While hubby is an avid Azkals fan and an avid fan of the soccer sports since I knew him.

For the past week or so, we have been shopping around for new soccer shoes for the little boy at the sport stores in the new mall. Hubby has been seriously looking for one. While I on the other hand, as practical as I am, see that the little boy still has very usable old soccer shoes. This pair of soccer shoes is the one that the little boy still use during soccer class. But if there is extra money then maybe when school starts we will buy those soccer shoes we found in one store since they are the only one who have small shoes that would fit the little boy. All for the love of soccer!!!

I would be happy to be given this chair which reminds me of the comfort of a native chair that I love so much which my parents used to have so many years ago. This would be my haven for reading at home. But definitely the little boy would be claiming this chair once he sees it. So I might as well wait for some generous soul to give me this and that would make me so happy!
