THE happy memories

Dream come true it will be for these two old friends way back in grade school to have a wedding by the beach. It has always been their dream wedding since they both love the beach and almost always their fave place to go when they are game for an escape from the busy life in the city. And speaking of dream wedding, I think they would like to see these destination weddings and wedding packages offered by these hotel-resorts with beautiful beachfront resorts with white-sand beaches offering a wonderful venue for an intimate wedding with family and close friends to witness these happy and memorable moments. There are resorts that even offer services of a wedding planner who will take care of all the details to ensure a worry free and memorable event which hopefully will make my friends’ dream come true.

Hubby and I are still not quite decided where to go for our vacation destination on the start of next year during our son’s birth month. We usually go to the Festival of the Infant Jesus. Next year, however, we might go to a new place. So I am scouting for a good destination for a family vacation. I was going through one of my friends photos of her wedding a few months ago which she just uploaded last week at her site. She title the album “Happy Memories” and indeed weddings are memories of happy moments worth cherishing forever. She was lucky to have one of those destination weddings that I was thinking of but our was not one but it was a happy one for us. My friend had always wanted to have a wedding by the beach and indeed she got what she want.

I would love to getaway for awhile just with hubby and go on a romantic getaway or vacation. We both need to go on a vacation and take a break from the routine of everyday life and that need for a romantic cancun vacation I dream about was made stronger when I browsed through the site of Karisma Hotels and Resorts with five signature resorts namely – El Dorado Royale Spa Resort (adults only), El Dorado Seaside Suites (adults only), Azul Beach (family-friendly) and Azul Blue (family-friendly) and Hidden Beach Resort (naturalist).

If we were to bring along our lil boy then we can go to Azul Blue or Azul Beach which has a family-friendly kids activity center. I would love to go to a meditation class there which I really need now. Plus hubby and I wanna try their non-motorized water sports too. Here is my entry for Food Trip Friday – fish and fries of Paradise Beach Resort in the Island Garden City of Samal a five minute boat ride from Davao City.

We ordered this for our son who likes fish and fries. However this is just quite expensive (P220) since this is dory fish – a fish we look for in places we eat because we began liking it and it is delicious and soft for our son to eat who looks for fish and chicken when we eat out. What I did not like about this particular dory fish is the taste or is it just how they cook it unlike other dory fish I have tasted in other places we eat though.
