Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer is the little kid’s choice for a movie to watch. He is happy to see Boots again. He even proudly took a snapshot using the GTab. I tell you he takes a lot of shots. As in a lot that if you watch the pics in a slideshow you might as well be like watching one Dora the Explorer episode yourself. LOL!

This photo is just one of those. I had to delete some of them because there is no more file space to save the other photos. He showed this to me right after he took the shot saying “Look Ma Boots and Dora!” All I can is “Yes!” Kids are kids and despite being busy sometimes, we just have to give attention to their interests and enthusiasm over those things.

Just for Laughs Gags

I missed watching this funny, prank show on cable TV called Just for Laughs Gags for more than a week now. I think there is an Asia version too that we sometimes get to see before. It really makes hubby and me laugh which is really a good laugh trip break for us in our busy daily life. Even the little boy would find some of those pranks funny. I usually get to catch this on TV during noon when the little boy is at school. You should watch this during your break at work. Time to get a good laugh I should say. As the old saying goes, laughter is the best medicine. But even if it’s not the best actually, what I know is that it’s good!

I always believe it’s good to have a good laugh once in awhile. Don’t care if I get those so called laugh lines wrinkles which also makes me think of those wrinkle creams that really work as long as it makes me happy and even if it leaves someone in here teary eyed from laughing too much. Maybe those creams may be set aside when you get a laugh trip often. Both ways though, they make you feel and look younger!

Just for Laughs Gags

Hubby and I love to watch the Just for Laughs Gags show on TV whenever we get to catch it showing on TV. I don’t know but it really makes me laugh and relax even as I take a little break from my work. Sometimes someone here would get teary eyed from laughing too much on what they do to seemingly innocent people who became a part of their pranks. This is really fun to watch and we look forward to watching it if we catch it on TV!

Hunting

I remember watching an episode of National Geographic one time where there were these people going on a deer hunting. I was amazed at how they could see those animals from such a far place. A friend’s brother-in-law loves to hunt with their friends. She mentioned this when we get to chat. Hunters are grateful for having those telescopic sight provided by their rifle scopes and they could get a clear shot at their target. But I have to say I have my reservations regarding hunting of animals. I am just simply amazed how they can see those deers given the distance when they go hunting.

I am excited for the little boy. I just saw the Ocean Park that we were planning to hopefully visit one day soon in the local travel show that is one of my favorite to watch during Friday night. I tried waking up my sleeping hubby to show him that segment but he was just too sleepy he could not keep his eyes open. Anyway, I now have a little idea of what to expect to see there. I wish we could watch the show of lights that they have or whatever they call it. I am sure the little boy would enjoy it. I am really excited. Oh well not to keep my hopes too high. I will continue to pray that the weather will be good all the time during our travel time – soon.

Laugh Trip

The little boy has this so-called laugh trip sometimes. He easily laughs and is really a happy boy. He usually wakes up with a smile and we get used to him laughing with us during our fun times together. But recently we noticed he has this some kind of laugh trip when he watches cartoon shows and movies on TV or in the iPod Touch. He may simply be having fun but I keep watch when what he is laughing and for him looks funny is actually not really good for kids to watch.

Beware for parents though. I wonder why there are so many cartoons for kids that are not really funny at all when you seen the characters actually hurting themselves but for kids it looks funny coz the characters would be laughing. Just saw a SpongeBob episode earlier and what SB was doing to himself was not really funny at all for kids to watch. It was really bad but the little boy was laughing along with SB and the other characters who were all laughing while SB got himself hammered and disfigured. In reality that was really violent and not a happy thing for kids to watch.

But then generally the little boy gets to watch funny cartoons but I am now watching what he watches coz sometimes what they see aren’t actually funny at all. I already told him it what is funny and what isn’t. I just pray he would know the difference.

Lots of Shoes

I was watching a talk show on cable TV yesterday and I was amazed at how this one lady from New York had lots of shoes that she has in her very small apartment which was up for . She kept all her shoes in their shoe boxes which remind me to look into those wholesale shoes a friend was telling me a couple of days ago. Some if not a lot of women out there around the world loves to buy and collect different kinds of shoes for various occasions and of course for different purposes. As much as I would love to buy and collect lots of shoes though, I would have to find first a place to store them in our place now. For now, I am happy with the two shoes that I have but given the chance to have lots of shoes, why not! I would surely be happy to have them!

Makes Me Wanna Dance

The Back at the Barnyard song really makes me and the lil boy wanna stand up dance. It is a fun song to dance to with the lil boy who loves to dance when he hears a nice and often upbeat music. He somehow likes this cartoon too though I make sure we censor those where the naughty boy named Eugene who’s character is obnoxious and bratty. Never a good example for kids. But then still we love their song let alone we can dance whole day long to it. LOL!

Hole in the Wall

We were laughing while watching the show Hole in the Wall in GMA 7 hosted by the tandem Michael V and Ogie Alcasid. It seems crazy but it looks fun. I just wonder though despite the fun and laughter and that the players seems to be enjoying themselves even if one of them would fall in the water if they do not fit in the hole in the wall that would pass through them, would they not get injured at all? I guess not as they get out of the water still laughing.

Sweet Moment

This is one sweet moment when Ryan Agoncillo kisses the little girl bride Yohan, Juday’s adopted daughter which I saw last night while I was watching the Judy Ann-Ryan wedding Unchanging Love documentary at ABS-CBN hosted by Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino, both SNN hosts. Such a sweet moment for the father and his adopted daughter now! I enjoyed watching the documentary last night. It seems to be such a fun and relaxing wedding. But the i was not able to finish watching it as my son got sleepy and we had to put him to bed to sleep.
